ride to the edge of the Watson River and the Watson River
Valley. See the remains of the Gold Rush of 1898 as well
as scenic vistas in this easily accessible wilderness.
Back at the lodge, enjoy a hearty meal
complete with the hosts’ famous
Dutch Apple Pie! Then it is a short stroll down to the lake where your two-person
canoes (three for kids) await for a calm scenic paddle with the opportunity
to view underwater and surrounding vegetation and wildlife. Approximate Duration:
1 hour horseback ride
1 hour paddle on Spirit Lake
Notes:
Sensible dress for the outdoors is recommended. Approximately
one hour of canoeing & one
hour of horseback riding.
