All adventures at Muktuk begin and end with our dogs, over 100 amazing, friendly huskies, many descended from our Yukon Quest champion team. They are well-trained athletes and working sled-dogs, and also a part of our family.
At Muktuk you can follow some less-travelled paths and have the experience of a lifetime – pristine wilderness, spectacular aurora borealis, exceptional meals, and superb hospitality. All that, and we guarantee you will have many new friends by the time you leave!
For all those keeners who need a dog fix but want to get an early start on the highway. This is a mini-tour and you will be able to spend time and cuddle up to our 116 friendly dogs with a lot of photo ops.

An in-depth introduction to sled-dogs, the Yukon Quest and our Yukon lifestlye: Kennel tour with the dogs and "40 Below" demo. Lots of hands on time with dogs and puppies, & lots of photo ops.

Join us for an in-depth introduction to sled-dogs, the Yukon Quest and our Yukon lifestyle followed by a special northern dinner. This is an authentic Yukon experience where you can share our lifestyle for an evening.
