 The hearts of downtown Haines and Skagway may be separated by 350 miles of road, but they're just a quick 35 minute trip on the Chilkat Cruises & Tours Fast Ferry. Our reliable service, centrally located docks and convenient schedule with multiple departures throughout the day make it easy to spend an afternoon, a week or longer exploring these quaint Southeast Alaska towns.
To make the connection between these two popular destinations; simply climb aboard one of our high speed catamarans; find a comfortable seat in our enclosed lower deck; or head upstairs to enjoy unobstructed views of this beautiful area.
As we cruise the calm waters of North America's longest fjord, our onboard Alaska Native tour guide will share insights of the area's rich culture and history, while you take in the sights.
Keep an eye out for waterfalls spilling down steep cliffs, glaciers perched on high mountain peaks. If you're lucky, we may even spot a whale surfacing from the deep.
Meanwhile, our friendly experienced crew will make sure your trip is safe and comfortable as we cruise between the Haines and Skagway small boat harbors. Conveniently located just steps from both downtown areas.

All fast ferry boats are wheelchair accessible. Reservations are highly recommended. A 25% penalty for cancellation will be charged. No penalty for date/time changes. Punch passes are for 10 one-way or 5 round-trips. They are non-refundable and cannot be carried into the 2009 season. They can be used on a space available basis from May 15, 2008 to September 15, 2008. Prices include all taxes and fees.
